Justine, here is yet another request for parking limitations for street cleaning. Can you be an advocate for the folks that continually ask for this, do you have any way of presenting this to the city. We sure have.

Traffic will investigate, so far only the downtown area has been signed for street cleaning days. Will check with Street Maintenance on if/when the other parts of the city will get signage.

I have asked our Street Maintenance Section as they have been mainly involved with these signs. I should hear later today or early next week. Will forward the recommendations to you as soon as I get them.

Any word on signage? Even if you do post parking restrictions, who will enforce it? An officer or parking enforcement will have to check the street on that morning to give tickets for not moving on cleaning days. Don’t see that happening. Does the City have the resources?

Currently there is no plan to sign the remaining streets in the city regarding street sweeping days, there is information that will be provided in utility billing and on the city's website. You are correct in that we have a shortage of enforcement capability, the downtown area now has parking enforcement but that is the only area as of today. PD does do some when called, but it is typically one of the lowest priorities in terms of response.

I'm working with PW Maintenance to come up with some type of advisory sign to help residents know when their area has street cleaning.

Hey, M. Tam, see that the man has no plan. Therefore no timeline... Keep trying though. The requests will be too many to ignore eventually.
And right off the bat, I don’t receive any utility bills at my address, PG&E is email and my landlord handles all the rest. So renters basically aren’t going to be notified, which are the majority of the problem.

Thank you for the insight. How strange the landlord pays for the utility bills. Renters usually pay for those bills because it helps them qualify for a loan when and if they're ready to buy.

I have a great landlord, yes. PG&E is mine but paperless and I pay though an app. on my phone. I don't get any messages from PG&E through my billing. Garbage and water should be the landlords responsibility is my feeling, but have had a couple pass that on to me.

It seems you can get traffic signs in Vallejo replaced, but rarely added. I can’t even get a single stop sign added to an intersection that’s one block from an elementary school 🤷🏽‍♀️

This issue is from 2017, someone should close it.
