Thanks Rayray. Yesterday i saw a car where the guys were taking bunches of signs out of the trunk of a car. They were starting to put lots of new signs out. I didn't think this should be a 911 call; but WHO SHOULD I CALL WHEN I SEE THE VIOLATION IN PROCESS? The car was at the corner of North Tarboro and East Jones Street.

take a photos of the car's licence plate and of the persons committing the violation(s) so the City of Raleigh can cite the person listed in the DMV for that car's licence plate

City needs to take a proactive stance on this. This is no better than that one furnature store a few months ago that the City never dealt with. Fine these people and they will learn.

Thanks for reporting. I have referred this to the City’s Zoning Inspections Division. When they have responded I will update this issue.

Just closing a few old cases. We have been collecting these signs around town for a couple of months now, and have cited the business, but it appears the fine is simply a cost of doing business for them in this seasonal effort. Will continue to try to remove them as they crop up.
