I wouldn't count on an in person visit doing much more. I've been waiting for a replacement for a stolen recycling bin since early summer. I called it in twice and also went there in person. During the 2nd call and visit, I expressed frustration at the delay and was thus told that my issue would be 'expedited' which also resulted in nothing. It does not appear that this type of thing is a city priority.
