Is this how all the roads get so damaged here? Brand new road surface has been left torn up after utility, gas or other company that needed to get under the road has finished their work and left the road in a much worse state than when they got there.
Speed bumps would work much better than new potholes on Quinnipiac av.

i too have wondered for years about who is in charge of seeing that these companies leave their work sites in decent shape.
where is the oversight? (i've asked this question of traffic and parking on issues like this before, and i'm patiently waiting on an answer)
