I was afforded the opportunity to view the inside of this dwelling, by the occupants, a single mother, two lovely daughters and a grandmother. The center of the house is sinking(?) the doors and their casings are twisted. Windows will not close. The house appears as if it is collapsing in (?) on itself [implode?]. Additionally there are many missing or damaged porch slats . House is in a state of total deterioration. Requesting that it be inspected for safety. Tenants are moving to another location due to infractions that the owner will not address.

4/24/2012 – Thank you so much for sharing your very important concern with the City of Richmond government. This situation with possible interior house violations & implosion has been formally reported to Richmond Code Enforcement (Request #20020834563) to initiate the proper inspections. In order to enter the property to do an inspection, the renter has to supply Code Enforcement with their name and phone number and sign a statement that they are allowing Code Enforcement to enter the property when the inspector gets to the home. Because of the length of time that can be involved with monitoring of this type inspection, supplying update information or obtaining follow ups can be conducted by dialing the Richmond Code at 646-6398 – rtt
