The FD generally performs drills of this kind on the second or fourth Tuesday of the month. The Water Department, if we are made aware, will send a NIXLE notice through the Police Department regarding the event to make the residents aware. Unfortunately, there was no notice for this instance as we had no reasonable warning. We found out about this Saturday morning when we were contacted by the Police Department, who indicated they were receiving calls from your area about discolored water. Apologies for the inconvenience on a Holiday weekend.
