Thank you for playing an active role in maintaining safe streets and neighborhoods in Chula Vista. Our staff either did not locate the vehicle at the location described or determined that the vehicle moved in-between checks and is now in compliance.
This reporting system is not designed for rapid response for one-time or occasional parking/traffic issues. It is best suited for chronic issues or long term events (such as abandoned vehicles). As such, when parking issues such as the one you reported are recieved, they are assigned out and treated as a chronic issue, resulting in multiple checks either to resolve/lessen the issue or determine that it isn't chronic.
This issue meant enough to you that you reported it twice, albeit with 2 different addresses, so it was assigned to two different people originally and you have recieved responses from both independently.
For one-time parking/traffic issues that need to be addressed quickly and are not a chronic issue, it is better to call our non-emergency number (619)691-5151. That will generate a patrol response, but depending on the severity of the issue, it may be treated as a low priority.
Different addresses? All last year people chronically were towed and ticketed for parking in this spot. Again feels like a personal vendetta now to keep replying. I'm glad I was annoying enough that now NO ONE will be towed or ticketed again.
I'm not sure how responding to your complaint and continued allegations is a "personal vendetta". You asked us to come, so we did, and we told you what we found.
Complaint #15415793 was submitted on 10/9 with an address of 639 Paseo Del Rey.
Complaint #15542926 was submitted on 10/30 with an address of 651 Del Rey Place.
We don't tow vehicles for parking in front of red curbs that don't exist, or even ones that do.
We may tow vehicles that block driveways, have expired registration, or are stored on a public street for longer than 72 hours, usually in response to a complaint.
Your complaints have both been closed. There will be no further responses.
