Here I am AGAIN reporting a parking issue in front of my store and surrounding areas. The same car that I've complained about in the past is still parking in the 2 hour zones along State St. I called NH Traffic and Ticketing twice today and no tickets were issued. I'm not sure what further steps I should be taking, perhaps someone can let me know who I need to contact next because this issue in NOT being acknowledged, if it is being acknowledged its not getting executed. Yesterday this same auto was parked in Zone 3 spot for 8+ hours. Its hurting my business and the surrounding business because our customers who are in and out quickly cannot park their cars near our stores. I understand its a busy time for H&R Block, but that is no excuse for people to be blocking fire hydrants and residential driveways. Perhaps I should file a daily complaint on this site and see what happens.
-Thanks, Jessica

Hey Jessica,
Can you take a photo of the vehicle as well and add to the issue?

Have you spoken with Mike Piscitelli - 203-946-8078 - MPiscite@newhavenct.net
He is very helpful and is in a position to address any issues to which his staff have failed to respond.

I wonder what the chances are of getting that one spot changed to 15 minute parking for Pan's Package Store & Cassidy's?

Maybe someone should kindly ask H&R Block to be more accountable for where its customers park, and remind them when they arrive?
I would love to patronize a business that cared more about its neighbors.
In the long term, making the neighborhood even more walkable will also help businesses accommodate their customers on State Street, since people will feel comfortable parking more than a few blocks away.
Until then... ticket away!
