Is this meant to be a joke? This photo appears to be from the community garden, run by the garden members, only open to the general public for limited weekend hours. Any complaints like this would go to them, not the city.

If the city is taking toys from the hands of babies from a public park at the south end of Ogden it would seem fair that they should apply that rule equally at the north end of Ogden.

I love how the city put so much effort into this. Like litter everywhere, our streets are all cut up and need a desperate repave, construction rules never enforced, and we lack basic pedestrian safety and yet the government wants the efforts here- taking toys from kids. The fact that anyone is complaining about THIS is beyond me.. sounds like this anonymous user is greasing some palms

City rather focus on taking toys from kids at the park rather than protecting kids going to and from the park walking these dangerous streets.

Grammatically, it’s a strangely worded sign:

There is no punctuation, and it reads very awkwardly. Should it perhaps say “no toys OR personal items”? “THEY must be taken home each day”? Perhaps “please do not leave toys or personal items in the park, they must be taken home each day”? Is it ok to leave them THROUGHOUT the day? (bring toys in the morning, leave and come back in the afternoon and THEN take them home?)

4:30 today , around the corner from the Park , Palisade and Hutton to be exact. Myself and 2 year old had to navigate around this gentleman, his syringe and empty keystone light cans. The toys are a liability though? Frustration isn’t the word, it’s disgusting this city prioritizes something like making multiple signs to remove donated toys from a park where children play. While actual serious “liabilities” like this go on. When the new administration comes in, maybe some common sense will follow.
