Potential fatal road conditions:
There are 4 to 6 very wide, heavy and large semi trucks parked on L Street, between 4th Ave and 5th Ave on the westbound side of L Street. These semi trucks cause the right side lane (westbound) on this part of L Street to become very narrow. It is an unsafe tightening and narrowing of the lane.
To avoid crashing into the semi trucks the public has to veer into the left lane. This is very dangerous.
These road conditions could cause a fatal accident. If it rains the visibility of drivers is affected and this could even increase the already hazardous and dangerous driving conditions caused by the wide semi trucks that are parked there. The people in the community are being subjected to unsafe road conditions as a result and this could lead to a fatal accident.

Chula Vista residents are submitting complaints to the Police Department via the SeeClixFix app and complaints are being archived and when they archive complaints it removes the compliant from being visible to the public. We want to know how many complaints the Police Department has received regarding the parking of these semi-trucks?
This request which was a new and specific request with new evidence regarding a white trailer that is a danger to the community public was marked as a duplicate and archived in a separate parking complaint that was submitted to the police.
Parking complaints should not be removed until the issue is resolved. The community public needs to see that their neighbors are reporting such matters and share the same concerns.
A white trailer that is inoperable and in red zone has been parked there for more than a week. To my knowledge the police department has been receiving calls about this at least since 2/28/23.
Important point of clarification: Truck Route is NOT synonyms for Truck Parking.
Please consult with your police department legal experts on this.
Parking of recreational vehicles or trailers on public streets is prohibited at all times, except while in the process of actively loading or unloading, or by permit. See Chula Vista Municipal Code §10.52.495 for additional information.
This is a trailer and for even greater safety concern the residents of Chula Vista are being endangered by this trailer that is parked in red zone and inoperable.

This trailer does not meet the definition of a recreational trailer as defined in the CVMC listed in the prior comment. The trailer is legally parked.
If you add comments to the existing open or acknowledged complaint, they are not archived. If you continue to open new complaints for the same vehicle/issue while an existing complaint for that vehicle/issue is open/acknowledged, you are only clogging the system and those complaints will be marked as a duplicate and archived.

Lt Rea has been helpful explaining the parking regulations for the trucks. Traffic Engineering has reviewed the travel lane widths in the westbound direction as you approach Fifth Ave. Additional red curb has been requested which will eliminate future parking in the transition area where the travel lanes veer slightly to the right.
Thank you

@Police department - Chula Vista Municipal Code §10.52.495 does account for this trailer coach. A semitrailer with no auxiliary is considered a trailer coach. This is not even a motor vehicle.
https://chulavista.municipal.codes/CVMC/10.52.495
See Chula Vista Municipal Code §10.52.495 for additional information.
B. For the purposes of this section, “recreational vehicle” shall include, but is not limited to, the following:
The following information is required in order to issue a Recreational Vehicle / Trailer Permit.
635.
A “trailer coach” is a vehicle, other than a motor vehicle, designed for human habitation or human occupancy for industrial, professional, or commercial purposes, for carrying property on its own structure, and for being drawn by a motor vehicle.

California Code Violation:
CALIFORNIA VEHICLE CODE VIOLATIONS:
22669(d) Immobilized vehicle parked on any street, alley or public right-of-way lacking parts or equipment to operate safely is declared a hazard to public health, safety and welfare requiring immediate removal.
R. Rea (PD) (Oficial verificado)
No. It is not a "trailer coach". Read the definition you provided. A "trailer coach" is designed for human habitation or human occupancy.
No, 22669(d) does not apply. The trailer is not missing any of the parts or equipment required to operate safely.
I assure you. If the Police Department could legally cite or tow this vehicle, we would.
