Sonic just did some work on the telephone pole in front of my house on 9/7, and it looks like they tried to install a guy wire right through the tree in my planting strip. The tree was planted by the Oakland Public Works Department, and, as you can see from the photo, it was pretty damaged by the installation. I'm trying to get help moving the guy wire so that it doesn't kill the tree and so that the guy wire doesn't flex as the tree grows.
