On 5th St, between Alice & Jackson, a trailer has taken up residence on the street. Has been here for weeks, and is leaking fluids onto the road. In addition, there was one car as part of this caravan; now there are 2 cars. This needs to be removed before the street turns into 6th St between Jackson & Alice. How about moving this to the Oakland Army Base?

Writ of Mandamus
Neighbors Together is seeking a court order that forces Oakland to do something about its encampment problem. The group wants the court to give Oakland 60 days to clarify which city departments have the authority to carry out the encampment management policy, enact the recommendations laid out in the city auditor’s report, and close all encampments near schools, residences, businesses and other sensitive areas — while also finding housing for displaced camp residents.
