    water is bubbling up out of the ground, in the midst of a line of oleanders (behind / north of the back parking lot of The Maids business on Broadway). it then flows north over the curb onto Whitman, and continues to flow for 3 or 4 blocks. note, address was provided by a map system, there is no building with that address. the problem is on the SOUTH side of Whitman.

    This hydrant has leaked for years and has been looked at several times. It has been somewhat better since it was last repaired, but never really stopped leaking entirely. Since about 2 weeks back, however, there's been a significant increase in the amount of water coming out of it. My dog now drinks from the puddle that is forming on the street.
