City of Richmond PLUS

Malvern St. From Monument going south all the way to Grove. Tree branches hanging so low one cannot see traffic signals or stop sign, etc. You don't have a category for this. I have noticed this problem on many streets as I travel around Richmond. No traffic light problem

Dead branches, peeling bark

This traffic light is either set improperly or is malfunctioning. Tonight the light for Castlewood traffic too so long to turn green that people were running red light and making u-turns at intersection with Bells Rd. Then, when light finally turns green, it holds for a maximum of about 3 vehicles.

Both buttons to cross street broken

The ability to get down Moore street across or onto Boulevard (ie Out of Scott's Addition) has become an unreasonable issue. Daily at rush hour times, there are several blocks of traffic attempting to get through this intersection, but generally only 5 to 8 cars make it through per cycle. There needs to be a longer cycle to allow the traffic out of Scott's Addition.

The traffic light at this intersection has reverted to a short cycle for cars coming from Chippenham and turning left on Stony Point. It was backing up traffic all the way to Huguenot.

The crosswalk marking leading to the island on the northwest corner is completely gone. This leaves no clear pedestrian marking on an already dangerous intersection. Vehicles have no warning that there is a crosswalk, and they approach the intersection at high speed. This crosswalk needs to be marked on the pavement, and there should be "yield to pedestrians" signs for vehicles.

Two sets of traffic lights in northbound lane - main set, most visible to northbound traffic remains red, while the less visible single light goes green. Traffic doesn’t know what light to follow so sits thru the light or makes red on red.
