    The Ped. crosswalk on College street by YSM is highly dangerous and is a serious accident waiting to happen. There are several factors:
    1) There is no sign in the street showing Ped right of way.
    2) Cars exceed the speed limit going around the slight turn
    2) The Ped right of way once in the street, per CT law, is not enforced

    The solution is easy:
    1) Put the Ped crossing sign back in the street (in the road - it was there but has been missing/vandalized)
    2) Put a Yellow flashing light (as higher up Congress) by the crosswalk
    3) Traffic Safety Enforcement of current CT laws

    Another car accident on Orange Street and Lawrence. Needs a light or better visibility with on street parking as it is. Pulling into Orange from Lawrence is very difficult in a sedan. On street parking blocks visibility and cross traffic doesn’t stop. No mirrors or street light.

    Despite the pedestrian sign/flashing lights there is a lot of speeding down this area. Some vehicles going way above speed limit and are not stopping for pedestrians. Perhaps placing a speed bump near this area especially because during the school year there are lots of kids from the neighboring schools.

    So, in response to the previous response by officals, it was requested to revert the ped crossing or bike lane into parking slots OFFICALLY and remove the ped crossing mark on road as i do not see any commitment in protecting the ped crossing or bike lane.

    Lombard from ferry Street to East Street needs speed humps installed. Speed humps were installed from front street to Ferry on Lombard but the rest has not been done. Cars are speeding in section of Lombard from ferry to East Street causing accidents and hazardous driving conditions. Please complete this job ASAP to prevent accidents

    There is no sidewalk on Seneca. It is commonly used by pedestrians and cyclist. A sidewalk or pedestrian lane (as well as clearing brush) would greatly improve safety and access.
