Playground safety building standards require swings to be placed aside in the playground, not SMACK IN THE MIDDLE of it, where children's traffic is highest, and right in the off- in-flows of a set of slides!

Apparently, some parents are just too lazy to chuck their coffee cups in the park bins, and just leave them for the children and ibis to "play" with it.

This gap (photo 1) is too wide; a child's foot and leg can get easily stuck in it (compare it with the other side in photo 2). It can be easily fixed by removing a link from the chain. Further, it will make the bridge a little less wobbly and tighten the gaps between the bridge and the rail.

Waverly Council prohibits ball games in Bronte Park, and rightly so as it is designated as a family park. The ample grassy area, however, seems irresistible to teenagers and young adults to take over and play ball, often posing substantial risk to toddlers and small children in the park (and a nuisance to adulrs wishing to share the space). Park rangers seem unable to curtail and fully prevent the transgression, as there seems to be no punishment either. One solution is to cut the space with unmovable objects — eg tables and benches, statues — so as to restrict the activity to smaller areas, if any. Another possibility is to extend Sculptures by the Sea to Bronte, letting the pieces set in the park to stay all year round, and thus also having a new one every year.
