    In the fall of 2020, the City of New Haven started sidewalk and curb replacement for the section of Lloyd Street between Grand Avenue and Clay Street , again Lloyd Street between Grand Avenue and Clay Street. This work continued until early January 2021. Most of the curbs were replaced and 5 houses on the odd number side of Lloyd Street had the sidewalks replaced. From when this work stopped in January 2021 until now no further work has been done. Sidewalks remain torn up from all the curb replacement work and due to this work, that was started back then, many sidewalks have further deteriorated. New Haven Public works does not know when all this work will start up again and says to contact City of New Haven Engineering department and they do not return calls. A 24 by 3-foot section of existing sidewalk remains torn up in front of my house when they replaced the curb plus the construction crew also broke in half the water curb stop box. Can someone investigate all this unfinished work.

    Large flat screen TV plus several large bags of trash placed on the sidewalk between 254-256 Lloyd St. Not the first time people using 254-256 Lloyd St as a dumping ground. Will see if the trash bags will fit in the city trash containers on Grand Ave, however need city's help in removing the large TV.

    Its called noise......Extremely loud music from around 7:00 pm saturday night 5/13/2023 to well after midnight. group of people on the sidewalk drinking alcohol and playing loud music. hard to understand for over 5 hours that any New haven PD on patrol would allow this to continue. Loud music also playing from the corner of Lloyd and Exchange St. as well as in front of 233 Blatchley Ave. Being exposed to this extremly Loud music is indeed a Health concern. Let's go New Haven, its time to cracked down on this.

    Cars still parking on the sidewalks. 264 Lloyd ST and a couple of houses after 264 this moroning. This is a continuing issue and needs to be fully addressed by the city of new haven, who appears to not take this matter or want to take this matter seriously.

    This keeps going on, it is nothing new. Anywhere from 264 Lloyd St. down to Clay St. on the even number address side of street. Cars, suv's, trucks continue to park on the sidewalks during the day, overnight, anytime. Calls to the new haven police non-emergency number do nothing to stop this. I stopped calling long time ago.Why, on routine patrol, won't the new haven police come by this 1 block section of Lloyd St. and tag and tow these vehicles?

    254-256 Lloyd St. once again people dumping trash as well as a city of New Haven trash bin ,between 254-256 Lloyd St. This is on the side walk, away from the street, and between the 2 address.     Another City trash bin, this time the big blue recycleable items type, has now been left by someone on the left side of 256 Lloyd St. This now makes 3 trash bins just left on the sidewalk between 256 Lloyd St and 254 Lloyd St. Do not know who or why someone is just leaving these containers, with trash in them, here. Whatever help the city can do in removing these now 3 trash bins is greatly appriciated.

    Unwanted trash and 2 city trash bins still exsists left side of 256 Lloyd St. and next to the shipping receiving area of 254 Lloyd St. and they are on the sidewalk not inside any private property. City trash containers dumped there by others and on october of 2022 the request was made to get these trash containers out of here and get rid of trash. Nothing is being done about this, as this in now Dec. 15. Do not understand why this is being ignored and also why some public work offical recently considers the trash containers on Private Property and closed a Click Fix request about this.

    Illegal dumping still exsists between 254-256 Lloyd St. New Haven. 2 City trash containers have been dumped there by others. they are full and there is other trash on the ground. october of 2022 the request was made to get these trash containers out of here and get rid of trash. Who's dropping the ball here? messages were also left with public works back in October about this. Nothing is being done about it. Do not know if the mayor reads these messages or the alders for the 8 and 16 wards, but this issue needs to be taken care of.

    On the side walk set back between 254 and 256 Lloyd St. are 2 city of new haven trash bins. They have been dumped here by others and left. They have been here for several weeks. They are overflowing with trash as people are randomly dumping stuff in them. Please remove these 2 bins, they do not belong here. On bin has an address number of 331 on it.

    Lloyd St. The Entire section of Lloyd St. between Grand Ave. and Clay St. Curb and side walk replacement work, on this 1 block section of Lloyd, was started Nov. of 2021 and carried over to Jan. 2022. All curb replacement work done, However all side work replacement work is Still Unfinished. A lot of sidewalks still torn up from curb work. When will the rest of the sidewalk replacement work get done? Calls to several city departments this past summer went unanswerd and now winter is approaching.

    The food vending truck parked on Lloyd Street next to Grand Avenue needs to move off the street. This will allow for proper plowing of the Grand and Lloyd intersection. Where the truck is now parked will cause that section of the intersection, facing Clay Street, not to be fully passible. This will cause issues turning into and coming out of that section of Lloyd Street. The food truck can move back when the snow stops and the intersection is fully played.
