This bridge has been opening at times during the morning when it's not supposed to. I take this bridge to work and it has been open numerous times from 8am - 8:30 in the past few weeks.

Posted hours from port authority:
(a) The draws shall open on signal; except as follows:

(1) From 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., noon to 12:15 p.m., 12:45 p.m. to 1 p.m., and 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., the draws need not be opened.

The entire north side of Chapel St between Orange and Church is a disaster. I would have fallen except for a woman who courageously grabbed onto me. These businesses need to be fined!

I was walking on crown St and a bunch of drugged out looking 20 something people were sitting on the sidewalk behind a dumpster on the street. One guy went into "How you doin" mode and when I didn't respond he got angry. I called police after sagely away but people should know that spot could be dangerous. It should be patrolled.

This entire stretch of road looks like the moon. It's almost not safe to drive on - I have to drive in the bike lane. Potholes have been patched and patched and nothing is even, you might as well be driving on a dirt road in the mountains. This really needs a complete re-pave.

The speeding is out of control on this street by both motorcycles and cars. I swear they are doing 70-80 in this stretch and just driving over the rotary because the center part is too low to be effective.

Yesterday someone passed me going over the yellow line because I was only doing 30/35.

This is the second one I've seen recently in this location by the overpass. It's on the northbound side of the street. I guess there must be a colony over there.

There is a dead animal on the side of northbound Quinnipiac Ave, just past the bridge.

Several very deep holes here. A couple holes were filled but quickly became a problem again. I have 4WD and am still nervous about driving here, but it's the most direct way home for me.

The street light keeps going on and off. Seems to be dying.

The siding is falling off in large chunks. Looks dangerous.

Today a UPS driver dropped off a package at 2:40 and by the time I got home at 5:15 it had been opened and the contents stolen ( a gift of a wok from a friend). A neighbor saw black man wearing a black hat and black jacket stuff the item into his jacket and called the police.

Another neighbor upstairs from me had a box of cookies from a holiday cookie exchange stolen a few weeks ago.
