We have just had our street swept. The driver had to dodge refuse and recycling containers! Again.

You should not schedule street sweeping for an area on the same day as collection since you have both uncollected containers and those collected but not moved of the curb.

During the rain fall on Monday we were inundated with leaves and debris requiring us to frequently clean the catch basins near our house. Since the City recently swept the street (and did a very good job) we went to look for the source of the debris. As has happened before, the swale across from 284 was overflowing and draining the golf course. The streets are a mess (again) and there are piles of leaves from that area down past my house. Yale should clean this up and fix the drainage issue - which has been ongoing for a number of years.

During the tree removal activity in our neighborhood I have observed the crews not performing any traffic control. Since they are closing a lane (or more) and we cannot see around them in most instances it seems that they should at least pay attention to their surrounds and provide some minimal traffic control. This is not a high traffic area so doing this (which I believe is required) should not be a major disruption to their work.

Route 11 is scheduled for street sweeping today (Friday 5/26). Yesterday, a street sweeper came down Spencer Place and turned up Stevenson Road east of my property. I contacted DEP and asked if they were going to do the Route today (Thu) and was told that they would do our area as scheduled (Fri.) Some of Route 11 was done but our area was not. We have 3 cars in the family and move the 3rd car into the driveway on sweeping days. It means one of us cannot get out of the garage until we can move that car back onto the street. It would be helpful if you could use the Click Fix system to notify us when something in the schedule changes. We like to work with you (hence clearing the street) and would like you to work a bit better with us. Your crews are great, but I would think this upgrade to your notification system should not be a big deal.

The drainage swale from Yale Golf course opposite 288 Stevenson Road is plugged up with leaves. We reported the leaves last week anticipating the rain and nothing was done. The water is now overflowing the sidewalk into the street. If the rain intensifies, it has in the past caused water problems to the residents. I"ve contacted our Alderman and will call Yale Golf Course next.

Stop sign on Conrad and Kohary coming from Yale Golf Course is missing. I"ve reported this to the City Department of Transportation.

One of the two oak trees in front of our house appears to be in distress far more than the other. Someone with expertise in trees should look at it before we get high wind or hurricane conditions. Thank you

The scheduled dates for street sweeping in our neighborhood have been missed a couple of times and we would like to find a way to be notified when it is rescheduled.

We were scheduled for street sweeping today (Zone 11 - Westville). About 11:30 I called to verify since we normally get swept by then and I needed to tell people to park in the driveway if we were getting the street swept. I can't find out when it was changed and would like some help on how to keep track of this service.

There has been a truck (rack body) parked on Spencer at the intersection of Whittier for a few months. Originally there was no license plate but recently one has been placed on the vehicle. It is in a potentially dangerous point in the traffic pattern and should be moved to a safer location.

Stop sign on Conrad at intersection of Ray Road has been knocked down.

Route 11 - Westville is scheduled for Mondays for Street Sweeping (every other month). We also have trash collection on Mondays. The bins on the road are in the way of the street sweepers. Maybe for next year you can schedule Route 11 - Westville for a different day of the week?
