The road crossing was east of Tumpkins Lane and made for newly annexed property. Please visit location and you will see this is in the city of Huntsville jurisdiction, and see how bad the patch job is.

    Please look at this intersection for repair. There is multiple layers of uneven asphalt when going north on Shields, turning east onto Jordan. Also, when on Shields and you are crossing the intersection north to south/south to north, there is a rise/bump that can only safely be crossed at very slow speeds.

    Could this area be looked at to paint one additional turning lane path(?) when turning west from Shields onto US 72? There are currently two turning lanes but only one dash path. It causes cars in the outer lane to not know where they are in relation to the cars on the inside lane. I try to turn and stay to the inside more than normal, but still have cars on the outside lane come over on me .

    Please check that the newly annexed property on Old Gurley Road, near the Gingers Lane intersection has been added to the city of Huntsville grass cutting schedule. The area has high weeds on the south side of Old Gurley, and the view of the intersection at Gingers Lane is blocked when trying to pull out onto Old Gurley Road. It is a hazard.

    Is Old Gurley Rd on the list for repaving/repair in 2016? I think this road is shared between City of Huntsville and Madison County. It is in bad condition and with the roadwork on US 72 East, more and more people use this road on their way to and from work which causes more and more deterioration. I have reported this to Madison County also.

    CUSTOMER AT 500 WAINWRIGHT CONTACTED ME AT HSV UTILITIES ABOUT A SINK HOLE. I VISITED SITE AND SAW THERE WAS A STORM DRAIN IN THE AREA. CUSTOMER HAS MARKED AREA WITH A RED FLAG.

    I HAVE LEFT A MESSAGES AT 883-3944 (MR. HATIFIELD'S OFFICE) BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL BACK, NOR HAS THE CUSTOMER.
