Thanks, But it seems to me it could have been addressed ages ago by continuing the path to just past the speed table at Formosa St, where cyclists could have remounted in its shelter and used the road. This could have been done as a separate project, and should have been addressed as part of the IC Bridge project, as we asked at the time. As to the "hazard", no one ever dismounts as far as I have seen, so the sign is useless, and fairly invisible where it is located. It could have been addressed by making the turn in for motor vehicles tighter or whatever, and give way signs erected for cars etc. The right turn into the path ramp was probably more dangerous for cyclists, but nothing was ever done to make that safer by removing the lip on the driveway or creating a right turn bay for cyclists, as we asked years ago.
I hope the dismount sign at South St can be removed too, and some way to provide bike access found. Glad to meet you down there to discuss.
