67 Ave through to 109 Street is no better! The entire subdivision is a mess! We had to help push our neighbor back into her driveway and she had to call a cab to leave home. I could not leave this morning without using 4x4. Please grade our roads! Thanks!

I agree, something needs to be done, the road is very dangerous. I just about slid into one of the parked cars. In addition to the ruts, the narrow road needs to become a "no parking" zone. What is it with all the company vehicles like Atco parking their trucks in such a way as to make travel dangerous.

The vehicles parked on this street rarely move, creating a very narrow street on a hill that is the primary route for many O'Brien residents. This street has become extremely difficult to drive on with the deep ruts. Places fix.

I am in complete agreement with all of the comments above! Our road on 109 street and 67 avenue is very unsafe. There is only one lane for traffic going both ways, meaning there is a back up of cars trying to get in or out of the subdivision. People without a 4x4 are stranded, something needs to be done!

William how is parking a company truck or an other vehicle on the street make travel dangerous? I agree the streets need to be cleaned but if you can't make it up the hill on 111 st there are 2 other ways out of the subdivision take them!! Company trucks are no different then a regular vehicle parked on the street I drive by that truck as well as many others on that street and it isn't parked dangerously at all!!!

The entire subdivision is extremely difficult to navigate without hitting either oncoming vehicles or parked ones. I'm not sure that I can even get my vehicle out without destroying something on it.

As I said, I think 111 st. should be a " no parking" zone for all vehicles as the street is too narrow. Just like many companies want to know if their vehicles are being operated in an unsafe manner, so I would think that companies like Atco and others would want to know that their vehicles are being parked in locations that make travel dangerous for others. All the vehicles on 111 st. are at risk of causing or being involved in accidents as the road is too narrow for two lanes of traffic plus parking on both sides. The problem is multiplied by the snowfall as there is no room for sliding or maneuvering through the ruts.. Alternate routes are possible, but as evidenced by the multiple complaints on this site, don't offer a great solution. The lack of snow removal in O'brien is causing problems on all streets, it is just worse on 111 st. because of the hill, the narrowness of the street, and the congestion of parked vehicles.

I have lived in O'Brien lake for 9 Years and it's the worst I have seen it. A moving truck was stuck today making it impossible to get through. And the longer way around was just awful. It's unsafe and needs to be dealt with sooner than later.

The whole subdivision is a mess. A schoolbus was stuck the other day. I am on 66 ave and can't leave my driveway. You shouldn't need a truck to live in GP.

I guess they should make all streets in obrien no parking zones as well as all those roads besides obrien lake drive are all the same width!!!! As Gerri said this is the worst I've seen it as well and I've been in obrien for 5 years. The snow removal maintenance is absolutely horrible!!!!! The city should figure out a better system for snow removal in grande prairie period... No one should have to worry about leaving their driveway and wondering if they are going to get stuck leaving our subdivision.. Here's to wishful thinking that the roads may get plowed for then one time this year...

I've never seen O'Brien Lake this bad, the roads in ALL our subdivision are narrowed by the amount of snow and by all the vehicles parked everywhere.

I'm Also on 67 and we had to get 6 people to push my car into my driveway! the moving truck which was stuck at the same time was a semi, an hour later 3 vehicles were stuck again right in front of my house and one was completely sideways. then I woke up last night to some notice out my window and there was a truck stuck in front of my house! and that was all in a 12 hour period and those are just the ones I saw!

My Jeep Liberty got stuck in a snow drift on 65 ave. I've also spun a 180 twice on O'brien Lake Dr. The roads need to be cleared ASAP. Wondering where our taxes are going? Clearly not toward snow removal.

I have lived in O'Brien for 9 years.. and agree the streets have never been as bad as they are now.. The amount of snow we have received is no help to any of us.
I to would greatly appreciate snow removal.

Why are the Taxes so high in our subdivision?... We pay way to much for no service!

It's unfortunate that in order to live in Grande Prairie (City) you must own a 4X4 or you will not be able to get around safely... Take a drive through Sexsmith (Town/County) amazing how much snow removal is getting completed there.
