Excessive speeding through playground zone night and day. I have never seen speed trap at north playground zone in crystal lake. Maybe the playground zone is marked poorly and playground zone needs to be extended.

The comment was about excessive speed in the playground zone, so your solution would be to remove the 30km signs??????

Crystal Lake Drive will only get busier when 92nd street is twinned next year.

Council choose to close 88 Street however, for a future north/south route, 84 Street will be constructed in the future.

We need traffic speed enforcement throughout CLD but the speeds seem to dramatically increase toward the north end. The highest speeds are during the early morning hours ( extremly fast) but vehicles "passing through" Crystal Lake on a daily basis are generally exceeding the speed limits.
I know this will be deemed not to be a Traffic or Enginering issue but rather than "brushing this off" could this concern be taken up with enforcement? after all it was traffic/engineering that created the problem in the first place, by design and the closing of 88th street.
I know there is supposed to be a new north/south route created at 84th street but why should it take so many years after the closure of 88th street and construction hasn't even started, this should have been started at least before taking away a critical north/south route because it was dusty.
