AndWeReWalking, be my guest if you would stop by and yank it off the telephone pole with live overhead electrical wires. It is a comcast cable hooked to the utility pole. I'll let the ones that put it up there get it down.

The cable is hooked to the utility pole on southgate between my house at 4206 and the house next door that faces cavanaugh.It lays across my tree in the front yard and over my fence at 4206 southgate. Off Cavanaugh, between cavanaugh and jessop on the west side of the street

this is a cable tv line. the cable tv company will have to be called. -- BWL

I am getting in touch with the cable company on this line.

The downed cable is still down, issue hasn't been resolved yet

Kirk, I connected Comcast again and talked with cooperate offices and they put in a work order on this. Please email follow-up with me on email.

I contacted the cable company as my first contact on this issue back in september. They were VERY reluctant to help since I wasn't a customer. This isn't an issue of being a customer or not. This is an issue of one of the cables being down that is specifically tagged as being cable tv.

I appreciate the follow up. I'll keep you updated. I am going to call them again myself. Nearly 4 months is unacceptable since the initial contact was made.

The cable has been removed by comcast. Thanks to all for the assistance in this matter. Kudo's to Ms. Wood in particular. Again, this matter has been taken care of.
