What do you think this SeeClickFix photojournalism campaign is going to accomplish?
The city is laying off firefighters, for gawd's sake. It is not going to come out and pick up this trash, or scold the nearby schoolchildren and parents! You realize that is not going to happen, right?
So what are TWO of you (the original poster and now you) hoping to accomplish with this post that some overworked staffer at the City of Houston is nonetheless going to have to read and dismiss?
I think Birdy is right -- probably that energy is better expended by getting out from behind the keyboard, parking the car, and picking up the trash. That may not be "fair" and it may be "sad" but it ultimately would produce a nicer neighborhood, something you could surely take pride in contributing to!

Section 8, please don't be sad. Make some friends! Get out some! Don't be so provincial!
(and I bet you pick up after your dog or cat, don't you) :o)

on my daily walks, i regularly pick up trash in the street. we've been known to walk up and down tanglewilde and our own street with garbage bags in hand to gather garbage.
whose responsibility is it? ours.
