Seems like, in typical City of New Haven government form, that the city signed a more or less worthless agreement, with Harbor Pointe LLC, that the Pointe people would build a walkway - no mention of maintenance. Then the city, Ed Mattison and Karen Gilvarg said, basically, Oh never mind, you Pointe people are such great guys, don't worry about the walkway, we're all hopey changey that the DEP will approve the required permit. I get the warm fuzzies just thinking about it!
Did that public access ever get connected to Ella Grasso Blvd?
