Our neighborhood is under seige!! We have had to endure screaming, yelling, and cursing all hours of the day and night. People are going to the bathroom outside on the ground so there is all manner of human waste everywhere and several of the homes in my neighborhood have been burglerized. We have called the police daily yet the problem persists.

Also demand to know if you’re compliant is a priority for police response within 1 hour
This will let you and your neighbors know if you’re on your own just as if you lived in a very rural area and need act accordingly
Theft. Fires. Bio. Hazards
Hopefully C O V acts before the neighbors are forced to..........?

This has been going on for months and months. Sometimes there is screaming and yelling all day long and it lasts until 3 or 4 am. I've called 911 and the police never even showed up.
The cussing and yelling isn't the only problem. Apparently there's a prostitute working and living down there too. She has her customers park on our street and they wait in their cars sometimes for hours. Yesterday, one guy got out of his car and used the bathroom in the yard in front of me.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! If the city doesn't do something soon we will have to.

Good people are reaching a breaking point
It will be getting cold and wet soon so what will the street people do then... Start more fires more often?
What’s going to happen if neighborhood men catch street people committing property crime knowing the police may- might not respond promptly?
Remove the campers and tents ASAP
Prevent lawlessness from ever happening. Thanks

The Community Service Section has put together a county wide homeless outreach taking place today and tomorrow in Vallejo and this is one of the locations that will be targeted.
Also the rail road is scheduled to clean this section of the tracks within the next couple of weeks. Hopefully this situation will be completed within that time span.
All of this property is private and cases are open on it, the CSS team has been out their weekly offering resources which is all we are legally allowed to do until the property owner cleans the property up.

Thank you for reporting! The Police Department's Community Service Section (CSS) has opened a case for this issue. CSS has one part-time and three full-time employees who are responsible for addressing all quality of life concerns, supporting Neighborhood Watch groups, and working with the Neighborhood Law Program and Code Enforcement to address distressed and dangerous properties. We work hard to investigate each report in a timely manner, and will investigate this report as soon as we possibly can. Please keep in mind there is a lengthy process to remove illegal encampments. If you have any questions, please call our office at (707) 553-7218.
If you witness any suspicious or criminal activity that requires an immediate response, please call 9-1-1.

Our whole neighborhood and all its residents are so relieved and feel so much safer now. V.P.D. did an AWESOME JOB of evicting everyone and standing watch to protect the workers as they cleaned.
Thanks again! You guys are so great!!
