The black elevated bus ramp found at this location is a dangerous road hazard. This evening my Uber driver made a right turn onto Telegraph from 27th Street and hit the corner of this ramp and I without a doubt know it is because of the lack of signage warning drivers about this ramp. You have a black ramp atop a black asphalt street and the only cautionary signal is a small striping at the very bottom near the street. That is highly insufficient warning for drivers, and it is outright dangerous. Who it their right mind thought this was OK? It seems quite obvious that there needs to be some kind of either guardrail or much taller cautionary signals along that face of the ramp. As it is right now, that ramp is a safety hazard, a ticking time bomb for something really dangerous to happen. Please fix this issue ASAP. I truly care about my city of Oakland but I am still lost for words that something so glaringly unsafe as this ever made past the approval stage.
