Descripción

The light for East and West bound traffic is approx 20 sec backing up traffic. North/South Adams light is much longer. Can the lights be equalized so traffic can flow more smoothly?

The signal provides more green time for Adams because Adams carries more than double the traffic of Tienken. If we gave both roads equal time, Adams would likely back up for a mile. Adams carries about 20,000 cars per day. Tienken carries about 9,000 cars per day. The signal timing accurately reflects these volumes.
