The field signal crew found that both push buttons are working and the timing is correct. Please note that once pressed, pedestrians need to wait for the timing for vehicles to be exhausted, and only then will the walk signal come up.

My request is that the timing of the light be changed. There is too much of a delay between when the pedestrian pushes the button and the "WALK" sign appears.

The timing associated with the pedestrian signal timing works in cooperation with the vehicle phases. The pedestrian walk sign will activate once the phase is served, and not automatically when the button is pushed.

I'll keep this issue closed since it seems to be the wrong forum.

My point is that although the signal is working correctly, I think it's programmed such that the wait time is too long.
