Vehicles traveling N on Grand Ave should use the separated right-turn lane to turn right onto MacArthur Blvd. Some vehicles turn right instead from the next lane over. This creates a dangerous situation for pedestrians crossing MacArthur, who are not expecting right-turning vehicles, and bicyclists, who are trying to head straight and unexpectedly get cut off by vehicles. The intersection markings should explicitly prohibit right-hand turns from the "middle" lane.
