Descripción

Vegetation in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of St. Albans Drive and Hardimont Road obstructs the sight distance for southbound vehicles on Hardimont Road that want to turn left or right onto St. Albans Drive. This is dangerous, and has been an ongoing problems for several years. The subject bushes are on public right-of-way.

I agree; drivers on Hardimont must stop with front bumper almost onto St. Albans in order to see up and down St. Albans.

Please provide link to City Code section pertaining to "visual obstruction". Vehicles traveling south on St. Albans at 35 to 40 mph are a danger to drivers pulling out onto St. Albans to see traffic traveling towards them.

To my reading, reference to "Calculation of sight triangles, Street, Sidewalk and Driveway Access Handbook" relates NOT ONE TWIT to an INTERSECTION and how far one must drive onto a cross-street in order to see traffic on that street. Please try again.
