I tried a product (Motsenbocker's Lift Off Graffiti Remover) on graffiti and stickers on a few light poles, etc around the neighborhood. Works pretty well. Will take much more effort on brick walls and other porous surfaces. But if you wanna do some of the work yourself, and give the Public Works people a helping hand, this stuff is worth tryin.
