During move-in and move-out seasons in the summer and early fall, trash amounts greatly increase, but new residents don't seem to know that bulk pick up needs to be scheduled. There needs to be some better communcation around this. Maybe it's worthwhile to do bulk pickup days like some other towns, instead of ad-hoc bulk trash pickup?

Maybe the landlords could post a notice or provide new tenants and departing tenants with packets of information, including bulk trash? I feel property owner are responsible for their tenants and if there's bulk trash, need to do a better job managing their properties. Property owners may fine tenants (if lease allows) for improper behavior or for their behavior resulting in a violation/citation from the city.
