For every person that doesn't take the US Census, that means a huge drop in federal funds to New Haven needed to support all kinds of social welfare programs, averaging over $9,000 of federal funds per year.
All information collected is both anonymous and confidential. There are no risks consequences relating to citizenship status, it only pertains to where you physically live.
College students: you will be responsible for signing forms in your master's office to participate in the census - this year colleges are no longer allowed to give enrollment data as proof of student population.
Encourage people in your neighborhoods, business, churches, clubs, community organizations, and everywhere to participate in the census.
