did they get rid of these bike lanes when they added the one on S. Winooski?

This is a fairly heavily biked road where cars can drive too fast as there aren't any stop signs between these two points. The narrower car lane due to the added bike lane would slow traffic on this road in the middle of Champlain College where students are always crossing This bike lane was there before replacement.
