It appears that you live in a cul-de-sac is this correct? If so is there still the snow pile located in your cul-de-sac or has it been removed?

The pile of snow in the cul-de-sac has not been removed.

When we get a fresh dump of snow, equipment is focused to main roads, bus routes and residential roads to ensure driveability for commuters and residents. Unfortunately, piles in cul-de-sacs are low priority items in the work schedule. With the warm weather we have been having there has been melting from these piles. Supervisors have been monitoring them. We are currently working now on removing these piles now that the main roads and residential roads have been complete.

So, if I understand this correctly, not all taxpayers are treated the same. We have had no appreciable amount of snow for about three weeks. In that time not once was our street or the feeder street touched by a snow plow except to dump more snow into the pile. With the warm weather, this pile has spilled more water into the street creating a thicker "ice road". It is fortunate that there was no damage or injury. However something needs to be done to correct the "icehole" as it is difficult getting in and out of the driveway without hitting the "icehole".
