Normal procedure is to plow the windrow to the side of the road. With the recent warmer weather, crews may be plowing the streets wider to allow for better melting and draining. I have recorded this concern as SRQ2015-000615 and forwarded it to Transportation Services to review. Thank you.

I do understand the procedure, but thank you for clarifying it for me. The concern is that the sidewalk was bare and dry and they completely covered the sidewalk with the windrow in front of our house, yet didn't do this in front of other houses where the sidewalks were not clear - the windrow is further out into the street. At all times in the past, we have ensured that the windrow has been cleared from in front of our house but clearing it onto our yard. The street is very wide in front of our house as there are not any old windrows, as we have cleared those.
