These trash can have increased in quantity in recent months and trash is regularly overflowing and being left on the ground. Trash cans are falling over and rolling around. Trash includes recycling and non-recycled materials. Animals are foraging in this waste. The trash cans are not being removed between trash collection days and some cans appear to be abandoned. Trash cans could easily be located at owners driveways but instead COBI are wrongly allowing these to be grouped on this public right of way. The Trash is a danger to traffic and local wildlife. Local residents have made repeated complaints to COBI over the last few years but still nothing has been done. (The cans in the photo look relatively tidy, only because a member of Derby Downs HOA, who have nothing to do with this Trash, took the step to tidy up due to the acute dangers being caused. at the time This was a temporary measure that will not last).
