We are posting this to inform the city again that there is a massive tree across from our house that is rotting from the inside. Wood rote, tree decay and its really showing at the base of the tree. Massive crater right at the bottom side, looks like the tree is already leaning. Please see picture.

We have noticed chunks of this tree falling out onto the street. You can reach your hand right inside. Come see for yourself and feel how brittle the wood is when you touch it. This tree is massive, if it falls it can do alot of damage or worse. It's dangerous and is just waiting for a major storm to come crashing down on our house or our neighbors.

We are really concerned that this tree will fall down if we have a blizzard this winter. We already had a tree fall down last year during a major snow storm. Crashed down through my neighbors yard and landed on our fence a few yards away from our house. A few years prior another massive tree fell in our other neighbors yard. It's scary with all these trees falling down during storms. There are kids living in these houses across from this massive tree.

We want it documented that we made the city aware of this rotting decaying tree across from our house and the danger it poses.

Sorry to keep pushing the issue, but it's what we see every time we leave the house in the morning. It's terrifying to think that this tree could fall down right on top of our house while we are sleeping.

Please please look into this before winter and publicly respond to this post to let us know what you are going to do.
