yes way people already go 90 mph down belmont ave and well by seminary there is also a school but yet even when kids and parents are trying to cross the street at seminary and belmont ave people still dont stop or slow down. Yeah a cross walk is needed.

I don't like slowing down traffic, either, but there is not a single stop sign between Sheffield and Racine. This might not be such a bad idea.

You know it does not even need to be a stop sign in general it could just be a more "present" cross walk with a flashing light when people enter the cross walk or press a button on a pole or something it will flash yellow lights above the intersection type of thing during peak hours and also like after the school lets out down the street. (there is a school 1 block away) yet no crossing guards or anything as well.

As for me i know how to BOLT across the street pretty fast if needed but there has been a few people killed on that intersection in the past years, also there has been several accidents there as well. Yeah a signal light would not really be a "good thing" due to the cubs games and other festivities in the area, stop sign might work but it might clog up traffic as well due to the area, but well a more present cross walk should do possibly a crossing guard during peak times for the kids and elderly.

Yup the Crosswalk has been installed and they had a sting on seminary ave last night.
