I reported this condition on the catch basin in front of 295 Stevenson road. This picture is of the similar catch basin across the street near 294 Stevenson Road. Neither of these are taking water right now and the rain fall rate is low.

I have been reporting this issue regularly during the season. It is clear from all observable evidence that the line draining these catch basins is significantly plugged up. During light rain, the catch basins fill up and may take a day to completely empty after the rain event. During heavy rains, they fill up quickly and the associated storm drain manhole cover in the middle of the street slightly downstream from these catch basins overflows clear water and leaves. I've contacted public works who said contact engineering. I've contacted engineering several times and have not gotten a response.
I have seen no individual inspecting the site and no trucks cleaning the associated storm sewer.
We are looking at another week of rain and streets full of leaves. I shouldn't have to sand bag my driveway or be out raking leaves at 2:30 AM every time we get a heavy rain storm.
Someone - please fix this
