This intersection is a nightmare waiting to happen. There are three streets coming together, and because some cars stop and some cars don't (depending on which lane they are in) drivers are often incredibly confused and pedestrians are risking their lives whenever they cross.

Westbound on Lexington that goes onto Liberty (right lane) doesn't need to stop. They fly through. But the left lane of Lexington, continuing on Lexington has a stop sign. Cars heading East on Liberty fly through, merging onto Lexington, with no need to stop. Cars entering the intersection from Cooper have a stop sign. Cars Eastbound on Lexington do have a stop sign. But with some cars not stopping and some cars required to stop, drivers frequently have no clue who is or isn't stopping. With the high rate of speed, and general chaos, somebody is going to die before long. I suppose the city will wait for that to happen, and THEN put in a traffic light. It would be nice to do it before that point in time.
