In the crosswalk across Sandy Beach at Sonoma, there are two holes which I thought were potholes. When I took a photo I realized they were covers to some kind of infrastructure elements. They are very far below street surface level, creating the same effect as a pothole. Particularly the one in the center is very deep. It is a safety hazard and should be corrected. Drivers swerve dangerously around it, and driving over it could cause vehicle damage.
